Megan Mitchell Joins WLWT Cincinnati News
Hearst-owned NBC affiliate WLWT Cincinnati (DMA 36) has added Megan Mitchell to its news team as weekend morning anchor/reporter.
She joins WLWT from KFYR, the NBC Affiliate in Bismarck, N.D., where she has been co-anchor, reporter and producer of its morning show for the past two years.
Mitchell attended Emerson College in Boston and was an anchor/producer at WEBN-TV and spent time at MSNBC and MTV while in school.
She officially joins WLWT on July 7 and will become the full-time anchor of WLWT News 5 Today Weekend shortly thereafter.
