Megan Spencer Named WJBK Weekend Anchor
Fox-owned WJBK Detroit (DMA 12) today named Megan Spencer co-anchor of its weekend newscasts at 6 and 10 p.m.
Effective immediately, Spencer will co-anchor alongside Ron Savage. She will also serve as a general assignment reporter for various weekday newscasts.
Most recently, Spencer was a general assignment reporter at WTVQ Lexington, Ky., starting in 2007, before her promotion to main evening news anchor in 2008. Earlier in her career, she was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WLAJ Lansing, Mich.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Spencer holds a bachelor’s degree in communication.
