Met Larry Mowry Joins WLS Chicago
Veteran meteorologist Larry Mowry will return to ABC O&O WLS Chicago starting, teffective April 11, VP/News Director Jennifer Graves says.
Mowry will work alongside morning news anchors Stacey Baca and Ben Bradley on the weekend morning news at 5 a.m., 6 a.m. and 8-10 a.m.. Mowry is an AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist who has excelled in severe weather coverage. He first worked as an ABC 7 meteorologist in 2004.
Mowry comes from KTVT Dallas, Texas where he was the chief meteorologist for the station’s 5, 6 and 10 p.m. weekday newscasts. He joined KTVT in 2008.
