Meteorologist Geoff Fox Joins WTIC

Fox O&O WTIC Hartford, Conn. (DMA 30) announced today that a very familiar face in Connecticut television will join the weather team next week. Viewers can expect to see veteran meteorologist Geoff Fox beginning Monday, April 18. Fox will be delivering science and technology reports at 4 p.m. and forecasting the weather during the 11 p.m. newscasts.

Fox is no stranger to the state. He comes to WTIC from WTNH New Haven with more than 26 years’ experience forecasting weather in Connecticut. He began his career in radio while attending Emerson College, at WSAR-AM Fall River, Mass. After 11 years in radio, he started reporting the weather at a TV station in Buffalo, N.Y., and became host of PM Magazine. Fox received a certificate in broadcast meteorology, from Mississippi State University and earned the American Meteorological Society’s Broadcast Seal of Approval.
