Mexicanal Signs Affils In Texas And Nevada

The Mexicanal Network has added new affiliates in Texas and Nevada. KVAT-LD Austin, Texas (DMA 48), and KELM-LP Reno, Nev. (DMA 108), will carry the Spanish-language network effective immediately.

“We are very pleased to welcome new stations in Austin and Reno, two important markets for Mexicanal,” said the network’s president, Luis Torres-Bohl. “As we have added each new affiliate to our stable, we have made it our mission to not only bring our viewers the best entertainment and news from throughout Mexico, but also strengthen their sense of community by keeping them connected with their hometowns and heritage.”

Mexicanal’s programming includes regional news, sports, popular entertainment and cultural programs direct from regions throughout Mexico.
