Miguelángel López New KTLM News Director
Telemundo-owned KTLM Harlingen, Texas (DMA 86), today promoted Miguelángel López to news director. In this role, he will be responsible for the overall performance of the news department and all other local productions across multiple media platforms.
Most recently, López was the executive producer of Noticias Telemundo 40. In this role, he was instrumental in the launch of the new weekday local newscast at 4:30 p.m. and the growth of the overall newscast and news gathering efforts.
Before this, López worked in various producer roles for Telemundo network.
Earlier this year, KTLM expanded its local news operation by launching live local news coverage weekdays at 10 p.m.
