Mike Everett Named KMIR Chief Meteorologist
OTA Broadcasting, which operates KMIR (NBC), KPSE (MNT) and KMIR.com in Palm Springs, Calif. (DMA 146), announced today that meteorologist Mike Everett will be joining the KMIR news team as chief meteorologist.
Everett joins KMIR from KRDO Colorado Springs.
He will be seen on KMIR news weeknights beginning Sept. 11 at 4:30, 5, 6 and 11 p.m. and weeknights at 9 and 10 p.m. on KPSE.
Everett has a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University and a broadcasting degree from the University of Central Florida.
