Mike Talik Named WXYZ-WMYD Digital Sales Mgr.

Scripps Media-owned ABC affiliate WXYZ and MNT affil WMYD Detroit (DMA 13) have named Mike Talik digital sales manager. Talik has been a digital strategist with WXYZ since April 2016.

“I look forward to building on our success and continuing to turn WXYZ and WMYD into digital powerhouses, both locally and throughout the country,” said Talik. “I believe we can lead the market by providing our partners with creative solutions that will help them grow their businesses.”

Before coming to WXYZ, Talik worked for the MLive Media Group as an account manager. He helped develop the real estate/recruitment sales team into one of the highest-producing teams in the company.

Talik was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is a graduate of Michigan State University.

Talik will begin his new role on Feb. 27.
