MNT Adds ‘X-Files,’ ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ ‘Ninja’ In Fall

The three new entries join the returning Law & Order: SVU  and Bones in primetime in September.

The MyNetworkTV programming service adds three programs to its weekly schedule including the original episodes of Chris Carter’s iconic series The X-Files, off-network episodes of Marvel’s first live-action television series, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the endurance reality program American Ninja Warrior.

Law & Order: SVU will return with back-to-back episodes each Monday night and the two-hour block of the long-running Fox series Bones shifts to Tuesday nights.

In making the announcement, Greg Meidel, president of Twentieth Television, said:  “We are unveiling a five-night-a-week schedule that showcases high-profile hit programs and well-established franchises. Whether a viewer is seeking action, mystery, suspense or thrills, the 2016 MyNetworkTV lineup truly satisfies all.”
