‘Modern Family’ Clearances Hit 50%

Twentieth Television’s sitcom has been sold in 33 markets in advance of its broadcast syndication debut in fall 2013.

Twentieth Television announced today that Twentieth Century Fox Television’s multiple Emmy-Award winning sitcom Modern Family has been sold in 33 markets, increasing its clearances to 50% of the country. Modern Family will premiere in broadcast syndication in 2013 in top 10 markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington and Houston.

Additional stations set to premiere the program in syndication in fall 2013 include Tribune’s WPHL Philadelphia; KCPQ-KZJO Seattle; WSFL Miami; KRCW Portland, Ore.; WXIN-WTTV Indianapolis; KSWB San Diego; WTIC-WCCT Hartford, Conn.; WPMT Harrisburg, Pa.; WXMI Grand Rapids, Mich.; and WGNO-WNOL New Orleans; Cox’s KTVU-KICU San Francisco; CBS’s WWJ-WKBD Detroit; Hearst’s WMOR Tampa; KQCA Sacramento, Calif.; KMBC-KCWE Kansas City; Sinclair’s WPGH-WPMY Pittsburgh; WSTR Cincinnati; WUHF Rochester, N.Y.; Newport’s WXXA Albany, N.Y.; and WPMI-WJTC Mobile, Ala.
