MUSL TV Appoints Robb Weller Programming EVP

MUSL TV (the “Muscle, Ultra-Sports and Lifestyle” network), America’s first 24/7 HD (high definition) linear entertainment network fully devoted to the fitness, training and athletic performance, has appointed Robb Weller as executive vice president, programming and production, effective immediately.

Weller has been a longtime partner with Gary Grossman in Weller/Grossman Productions, a television production company. Together, they produced more than 9,000 programs for 35 different cable and broadcast networks. 

Weller is an 11-year veteran as co-host of HGTV’s Tournament of Roses Parade.  Additionally, Weller co-anchored Entertainment Tonight, hosted ABC’s The Home Show, the syndicated Win, Lose or Draw, NBC’s Trial Watch and The Best of the Best for CBS and has hosted and narrated many other network series and specials for CNN, A&E, HBO, HGTV, Fine Living, Food Network, TNN, Animal Planet, and History Channel.   Weller also served as the longstanding anchor for Good Day LA Sunday on KTTV FOX 11.

Weller was on-camera movie spokesman for Disney, and helped launch the Biography Channel with his Postcards from Hollywood series.  He has also appeared as a guest star on 24, St. Elsewhere, One Life to Live, General Hospital and had announcing roles on According to Jim and Mad About You. He hosted and produced the Entertainment Report, Mutual Broadcasting System’s syndicated entertainment news program, served as Larry King’s regular radio show alternate, and was a regular replacement for Tom Snyder’s daily national radio program.

He won an Emmy Award for his hosting and was the first inductee into the Washington State TV Academy.
