Natalie Bomke Is Newest Anchor At WFLD Chicago
Fox-owned WFLD Chicago has hired Natalie Bomke as weekday anchor of its 5-7 a.m. Good Day Chicago, alongside Dawn Hasbrouck.
She joins the station from Fox’s KRIV Houston. Prior to that, she was a morning news anchor and reporter for KTXL Sacramento, Calif. Earlier, Bomke served held a variety of positions for WICD Champaign Ill.
She began her career in her hometown of Springfield, Ill., as a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor for WICS.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, Bomke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism with a concentration in political science.
