NATPE Unveils Exhibitor-Buyer Lineup

The trade group also introduces tech and online networking tools for its 2011 marketplace in Miami.

NATPE President-CEO Rick Feldman today announced that its annual trade show has nearly reached capacity for floor exhibitors and has sold approximately 80% of suite space for the upcoming market and conference running from Jan. 24-26 at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami.

In addition to the more than 500 buyers from 43 countries that will be in attendance in South Beach, NATPE is launching NATPE Connect this December, an online networking tool that will allow attendees to connect with one another before, during and after the market.

“We’ve seen tremendous excitement in advance of NATPE 2011 and the international buzz confirms our strategic decision to make Miami our new home,” said Feldman. “It will certainly be a very busy week for exhibitors and buyers. We’re happy to provide tools like NATPE Connect and the Online Show Guide that will further enhance the NATPE experience to make for a highly productive conference.”

Currently in beta testing, NATPE Connect is an online social networking site that will enable conference attendees to search and browse a complete attendee directory, build and share professional profiles, connect and communicate with other attendees, send and receive private messages, set up one-on-one meetings on-site, and build and export personalized meeting schedules to Outlook Calendar or iCalendar. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available within NATPE Connect.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

The 2011 marketplace will also have the first NATPE Online Show Guide, a multimedia platform accessible via mobile apps for all major smart phone systems (in development), a website and on-site touch screens. The Show Guide will provide session and speaker information, maps, exhibitor content and other useful conference information. Touch screens with Guide access will be placed in five high traffic areas throughout the Fontainebleau Resort.
