Super Bowl LII: NBC announces it has sold out its ad inventory for the game broadcast
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — About 48 hours from kickoff for Super Bowl LII, NBC announced it had sold all of its ad inventory for the game.
“Super Bowl LII is sold out,” Dan Lovinger, NBC Sports Group’s executive vice president of advertising of sales, said in a statement to USA TODAY Sports. “We booked record revenue, and advertiser enthusiasm for the game is at an all-time high.”
Lovinger said three weeks ago “only a handful” slots for the Super Bowl were left unsold.
Wix, a website hosting company, announced Friday that it had purchased a 30-second ad at the last-minute. Toyota also announced Friday that it had purchased a third ad.
