NBCUniversal Names Allan Cohen Controller

Allan Cohen today was been named senior vice president and controller, NBCUniversal. He reports to Stuart J. Epstein, chief financial officer, NBCUniversal.

Cohen will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for NBCUniversal and the businesses in the company’s four major financial segments of Broadcast Television, Cable Networks, Filmed Entertainment, and Theme Parks. He joins NBCUniversal from Time Warner Inc., where he was VP-assistant controller.

At Time Warner, Cohen was responsible for accounting and reporting matters for all business segments. Cohen’s professional experience includes nearly a decade as an accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in the media industry. He also served for two years as a Securities and Exchange Commission professional accounting fellow for the division of corporate finance.
