NBCU’s ‘Crazy Talk’ Clearances Hit 80%

NBCUniversal has cleared comedic show Crazy Talk in 80% of TV homes for this fall, including on launch group Fox Television Stations and stations owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Hearst, Cox, Meredith, Raycom, Media General and on CW Plus stations.

The Stamford, Conn.-based syndicated show will be co-hosted by New York Live’s Ben Aaron and Bad Girls Club reality star Tanisha Thomas. The hosts will show clips from other TV shows and talk about them.

Crazy Talk is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud comedic show which raises an eyebrow on the most outlandish and sometimes bizarre moments across the rapidly growing reality television landscape,” said Ed Swindler, president of NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution and NBC Broadcast Operations, in a statement.

“Our hosts will infuse a comical spin on these moments to create fantastic fodder for a daily show. We are confident this format will bring laughter to viewers and energize the comedy space in broadcast syndication,” he added.

Paul Faulhaber, executive producer of NBCUniversal’s Maury, will serve as executive producer.

Crazy Talk is being sold as two back-to-back half hour episodes.
