Network Electronics showin new switchers, more at NAB2006
Network Electronics, a Salt Lake City-based manufacture of routing switchers, fiber optic transport and signal processing products, will celebrate its 10th anniversary at NAB 2006 in Las Vegas by introducing a record number of new products. More than 30 additions to its VikinX and flashlink lines will be launched in booth SU 199 at the show, April 22-27.
The flashlink platform will offer new fiber optic transport applications. The company will also premiere an SDI time division multiplexer/de-multiplexer and is taking the next step into IP with a IPTV gateway solution that will allow real time transport of SDI digital video via IP networks.
Network will be introducing the next generation of its VikinX routers—VikinX Sublime. VikinX Sublime will offer the broadcast market an extensive range of matrix sizes (8×8 to 64×64 and 128×2) available and will cover signal formats from analog video/audio to HDTV. In addition, VikinX Sublime will offer flexible routing solutions for general purpose facilities and on-air routing as well as mobile outside broadcast applications and sophisticated A/V applications.
