New GM, ND At Cox’s KOKI-KMYT Tulsa

Cox Media Group taps Greg Bilte and Suzanne Nadell to lead the duopoly and news operations, respectively. Bilte joins the Tulsa stations from Cox's KTVU-KICU San Francisco; Nadell, from Cox flagship WSB Atlanta.

Cox Media Group today named Greg Bilte as its new general manager and Suzanne Nadell as news director at its duopoly of KOKI (Fox) and KMYT (MNT) in Tulsa, Okla. (DMA 59). Both positions are effective immediately. Bilte and Nadell will also help create cross-platform collaboration opportunities with CMG’s radio cluster and with Cox Communications in Tulsa.

“Greg and Suzanne will play pivotal roles in leading the professionals at KOKI-TV and KMYT-TV to continue informing, inspiring, entertaining and improving the Tulsa community,” said CMG’s EVP of Broadcast Bill Hoffman.  

Before being named GM, Bilte was director of sales at KTVU-KICU San Francisco. He began his broadcasting career in 1979 as a business development account executive for KXLY Spokane, Wash., and later was an account executive with TeleRep. His career also includes being national sales manager at KTTV Los Angeles and general sales manager at both KICU and KTVU.

Nadell most recently was an executive producer at CMG’s WSB Atlanta for the early evening newscasts. Nadell also led WSB’s morning team. She started her career as a producer and reporter for WJHL Johnson City, Tenn. Other career highlights include producer at WBBH Fort Myers, Fla.; producer at CMG’s WFTV Orlando, Fla.; and producer at Tampa’s WFLA.
