Sunbeam has named Bubba Burns VP-GM and promoted from within to fill his spot as sales director and others.

New GM, Sales Execs At WHDH-WLVI Boston
Sunbeam Television is making management changes at its Boston (DMA 7) duopoly of WHDH (NBC) and WLVI (CW) that take effect Sept. 1.
Robert “Bubba” Burns, has been promoted to VP-general manager. Burns has been with the company for eight years, most recently as director of sales for the two Boston stations. He succeeds Chris Wayland who was upped to corporate management at Sunbeam.
He will be succeeded as sales director by Paul Magnes, the current WHDH local sales manager.
Marcy Burt McCauley, former local sales manager for WLVI, becomes local sales manager for WHDH.
Jennifer Howe MacDermott, an account executive for WHDH, has been elevated to local sales manager of WLVI.
Charles Shiebler, also an account executive for WHDH, has been named national sales manager for WLVI.
