Steve Shanks will Lead Sales Efforts at CBS Affiliates WFRV Green Bay, Wis., WJMN Marquette, Mich., and the stations’ websites.

Nexstar Names Green Bay-Marquette GSM
Nexstar Broadcasting Group announced today that veteran television sales executive, Steve Shanks, has been appointed general sales manager of its CBS affiliates WFRV Green Bay, Wis. (DMA 69), and WJMN Marquette, Mich. (DMA 180), and their respective e-Media operations.
Shanks will report to Joseph Denk, VP-GM of both stations.
Shanks is the former VP-GM of Green Bay’s former WB affiliate WIWB. He oversaw its conversion to a CW affiliate in 2006. His background in sales includes sales management positions in Madison, Wis., and Dayton, Ohio, prior to arriving in Green Bay.
