Nexstar Ups Kelsey To GM In Fayetteville

Nexstar Broadcasting Group announced today that Lisa Kelsey has been appointed vice president and general manager of its NBC affiliate, KNWA, its Fox affiliate, KFTA and Nwahomepage.net in Fayetteville-Fort Smith, Ark. (DMA 101).

Since 2008, Kelsey has been the stations’ director of sales. She will report to Brian Jones, EVP and co-COO of Nexstar Broadcasting.

Kelsey began her career with KNWA in 1996 as a senior account executive. She was promoted to sales manager in 2004, and promoted again to her most recent position as director of sales for both stations in 2008.

Her sales experience extends beyond her broadcast industry roots, having also served as Northwest Arkansas territory manager for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals from 2002 through 2004.

Kelsey graduated from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
