‘OK! TV’ Renewed For A Second Season

New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta and Detroit are among the markets back for the half-hour daily strip from Trifecta.

The entertainment newsmagazine OK! TV has secured clearances for a second season in fall 2014 in more than 50% of TV homes, including CBS Television Stations’ independents WLNY New York, KCAL Los Angeles, WSBK Boston and CW affiliate WUPA Atlanta.

Other station groups carrying the show’s second season include Journal, Gray, Media General and Mission. More clearances will be announced soon.

Starting this fall, it also will air on CBS independent KTXA Dallas. As of this month, it airs in Philadelphia on Tribune independent WPHL.

OK! TV is a coproduction between magazine owner American Media Inc., Unconventional Partners and cable channel ReelzChannel, which also airs the show. Trifecta Entertainment distributes OK! TV.

“We are thrilled with the strong momentum that is carrying us into the second year and look forward to the expanded integrated marketing opportunities that we currently offer to our partner stations,” said Hank Cohen, CEO and partner of Trifecta Entertainment & Media, in a statement.

The show is promoted regularly through OK! Magazine’s weekly publication, which reaches more than 4.5 million readers, in addition to American Media Inc.’s other entertainment and lifestyle publications and complementary websites. OK! TV’s radio, digital, brand and experiential promotional partner platforms provide additional promotion.
