Pablo Alsina Joins KHOU Sports Team

Tegna-owned CBS affiliate KHOU Houston (DMA 10) has hired Pablo Alsina for its sports team. Alsina will be seen on air beginning in mid-August, and will anchor weekday sports and KHOU 11 Sports Extra.

Alsina comes to Houston from Los Angeles, where he has worked as a bilingual anchor for Fox Deportes and other national and regional cable sports networks.

In his career, Alsina has covered a range of high-profile sports events, from MLB and two World Series to college football, international soccer and Ultimate Fighting Championships.

He has also been seen on the airwaves in a different capacity, with 20 national commercials and a stint on ABC’s General Hospital to his credit.

Alsina is a graduate of the University of Florida.
