PactUS Names Inaugural Executive Board

PactUS, an association formed in 2015 dedicated to helping U.S.-based nonfiction and scripted independent production companies improve their businesses, today announced its inaugural executive board of directors representing a cross-section of its 30-plus member companies.

The prominent board members include All3Media America CEO Gregory Lipstone, Endemol Shine COO Ben Samek, Propagate Content Founder/Co-CEO Howard Owens, Electus International Global Distribution President John Pollak, Punched in the Head owner Amelia D’Entrone, Hot Snakes Media Founding Partner Eric Evangelista, Talos Films Co-President Elli Hakami, 51 Minds COO Temple Williams and Pact CEO John McVay.

Inaugural board chairman and IPC Television CEO Eli Holzman formerly served as president of Studio Lambert USA and All3Media America. He launched his TV, feature film and mobile content shingle in January of this year.

 “This marks a significant milestone in the evolution of this association,” said PactUS President David Lyle. “With this distinguished and extremely knowledgeable local group of inaugural directors and John, who has done a spectacular job in building Pact into such a major force in the UK content landscape, we will continue to grow and flourish.” 

The board with its New York- and Los Angeles-based directors reflects a range of large and medium-size American production companies that have joined PactUS since its formation under the direction of Lyle.

In March, the association announced the signing of Endemol Shine North America, All3Media America, and their family of companies including All3Media America’s Bentley Productions, Bogner Content, Commonwealth Unscripted, Company Pictures, ID-TV, Lime, Lion Television USA, Maverick, MME Moviement, Neal Street, New Pictures, North One Television, Objective Productions, Optomen Television USA, Seven Stories, South Pacific Pictures and Studio Lambert.

Among the additional independent companies to have joined PactUS are Another Green World, B.Bold Content Studios, Broderville Pictures, Cineflix, Leopard USA, October Films, ProMedia, Phiphen Pictures and 2CMedia (as well as its first associate members, Audio Network and Media Services).
