Pascarella New Co-Executive Producer Of ‘Maury’

Television veteran John Pascarella today was named co-executive producer of NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution’s Maury.

For the past seven seasons, Pascarella has been the show’s supervising producer. In his new role, Pascarella will continue to supervise the creative and administrative aspects of the day-to-day production.

“John’s raw enthusiasm, coupled with his extensive knowledge of trends and pop culture has made him a tremendous asset to us,” said executive producer Paul Faulhaber. “John is an incredible talent and a good friend and I am excited to have him alongside me as co-executive producer as we take on our 15th season.”

Pascarella has been with Maury since 2002 where he started as a producer and was elevated to supervising producer in 2005. Prior to joining Maury, Pascarella spent six seasons at Sally Jessy Raphael, where he was a producer from 1996-2002. He also was a key contributor on several pilots including Fergie, a daytime talk show featuring The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.

NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution says Maury is the No. 1 rated talk show among women 18-34 (1.7), women 18-49 (1.6), women 25-54 (1.6, tie with Dr. Phil), adults 18-34 (1.2), adults 18-49 (1.3) and adults 25-54 (1.3).

Maury returns for its 15th season in national syndication on Monday, Sept. 17, and has been sold to broadcast stations through 2016.
