The former KCPQ-KZJO Seattle general sales manager will lead Tribune’s Indianapolis Fox and CW duopoly.
Paul Rennie New GM Of WTTV-WXIN
Tribune Co. has named Paul Rennie VP_GM of its duopoly of WTTV (Fox)-WXIN-TV (CW) Indianapolis (DMA 26). He succeeds Larry Delia who left to become GM of WTHR Indianapolis in June.
Since 2004, Rennie has been general sales manager of Tribune’s KCPQ-KZJO Seattle and their respective digital operations; he previously worked in the Indianapolis market as general sales manager of WRTV. Rennie will report to Larry Wert, Tribune’s president/broadcast media, and assume his new duties immediately.
Prior to his work at Tribune’s Seattle stations, Rennie headed sales for WRTV Indianapolis for two years, managing and selling across a multimedia platform that included not only the television station, but a cable news channel and website, as well.
Before joining WRTV, Rennie held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in local and national broadcast sales. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in communications in 1985.
