Plum TV To Air ‘Weekend Aristocrats’

Plum TV will present a six-part series on the struggle of British lords and ladies to keep their ancestral homes by doing the once unthinkable to earn some extra cash — inviting in American tourists as overnight guests.

Episodes 1 and 2 of Weekend Aristocrats will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 8 and 9 p.m., with additional episodes premiering on Feb. 24 and March 3, and encore presentations throughout the weeks following. The series will be available on Hulu and Hulu Plus starting Feb. 18.

From weddings to bachelor parties, the stately homes attract weekend guests from all walks of life and Weekend Aristocrats explores the inevitable culture clash between the old money hosts and their paying guests.
