Prince Proves Powerful Draw For ‘Arsenio’
Ratings for Arsenio Hall with sole guest Prince on Wednesday, March 5, averaged a 1.4 rating/3 share in the overnights, up 56% from the show’s February 2014 sweep average.
In the key adults 18-49 demo, Arsenio grew 50% to a 0.6/2, tying the rating for Jimmy Kimmel Live (0.6/3) and beating much of his late night competition that night, including Late Night with David Letterman (0.5/2), Nightline (0.4/2), Conan (0.4/1), Craig Ferguson (0.3/2), Chelsea Lately (0.2/1) and others.
On the rare television appearance, Prince performed a number of songs, including new tune Funknroll, and took questions from the audience.
