RaMona Alexander Named GM Of WDBD

RaMona C. Alexander on Thursday was named general manager and general sales manager of WDBD, the Fox affiliate owned by American Spirit Media in Jackson, Miss. (DMA 95). The station is operated by Raycom Media under a shared services agreement.

Alexander’s most recent job was corporate broadcast sales trainer at Raycom in Charlotte, N.C. She’s returning to where her career began, in Jackson as an account executive and later as a local sales manager.

She continued her career growth as a vice president of sales at WTFX Philadelphia, WHBQ Memphis and WGHP High Point, N.C.

Alexander is a member of National Association of Black Journalist, completed the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training Program, and a board member of the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Sam M. Walton College of Business University of Arkansas.
