Randy Wimbley Joins WJBK Detroit News

Randy Wimbley has joined the news team at Fox O&O WJBK Detroit (DMA 11). Effective Monday, July 15, Wimbley will be a general assignment reporter contributing to various newscasts throughout the week.

Most recently, Wimbley was a reporter at WATN Memphis for the past three years. Prior to that, he was a reporter for WNEM Saginaw, Mich., and a freelance reporter for WUPW Toledo, Ohio.

Earlier in his career, Wimbley was a news intern at WTVG Toledo and for Tribune Broadacasting in Washington. Wimbley began his career as a news intern at WJBK.

A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Wimbley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism.
