Rentrak Adds Citadel’s WLNE Providence

Media measurement company Rentrak has signed a multi-year agreement with Citadel Communications for its ABC-affiliate WLNE Providence, R.I. (DMA 53).

The station becomes the second in Providence to use Rentrak’s passive measurement system, including Rentrak’s single-source automotive information, to sell the value of their audiences and inventory in reaching actual purchasers.

“We are excited to be partnered with Rentrak,” said Citadel President-COO Ray Cole. “Rentrak’s massive database measurement will provide WLNE with stable demographic ratings every day of the year. The stability that comes from Rentrak and their advanced demographics will allow us to help our station and our advertiser partners reach their specific targets.”
