Rentrak Adds London Broadcasting’s KTAQ Dallas

Multi-screen media measurement firm Rentrak Corp. announced that London Broadcasting’s KTAQ Dallas (DMA 5)  has signed a multi-year contract for Rentrak’s StationView Essentials service.

London Broadcasting currently subscribes to Rentrak’s census-like TV ratings currency at 10 other stations in Waco-Temple-Bryan, Tyler-Longview and Beaumont-Port Arthur, Texas.

“Rentrak’s ratings information is invaluable to our television stations,” said Phil Hurley, London Broadcasting’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Their massive databases of passive viewing data in each market give us a far more representative and reliable view of how audiences really are interacting with programming as they watch television.”

TV Essentials is a television ratings database currency that provides daily measurement of all U.S. TV networks in all 210 U.S. TV markets. The service incorporates data from more than 19 million satellite, telco and cable television sets and integrates it with product consumption information.
