Rentrak Adds Tribune’s New Orleans Duo

Multi-screen media measurement firm Rentrak Corp. today announced that Tribune Broadcasting’s ABC affiliate WGNO and CW affil WNOL New Orleans (DMA 52) have signed contracts for Rentrak’s StationView Essentials service.

“Tribune is looking forward to being on the street with Rentrak’s ratings information,” said Nils Larsen, president-CEO, Tribune Broadcasting. “We are excited to take advantage of their audience information and to offer our automotive clients advanced auto purchaser viewing data through Rentrak’s integrated Polk Automotive Consumer Ratings. This is a true positive for our local television stations.”

TV Essentials is a television ratings database currency that provides daily measurement of all U.S. TV networks in all 210 U.S. TV markets. The service incorporates data from more than 19 million satellite, telco and cable television sets and integrates it with product consumption information.
