Rentrak Adds WUSA Washington

Gannett’s CBS affiliate in the nation's capital is the latest station to adopt the ratings technology.

Rentrak has signed a multi-year TV measurement agreement with the Gannett-owned CBS-affiliate WUSA Washington, D.C. (DMA 8).

WUSA will use Rentrak’s passive measurement currency, including Rentrak’s single-source Advanced Automotive and political ratings.

“Our commitment to working with Rentrak stems from our desire to represent viewing to our advertising customers beyond age demographics and, instead, target the products that our viewers buy,” said WUSA President-GM Mark Burdett.

“Rentrak is very pleased to work with WUSA9 and further expand our television station client base in Washington, D.C.,” said Rentrak EVP of Local Television Steve Walsh.
