Rentrak Signs New Cable Network Pivot
Rentrak Corp. on Thursday announced a multi-year TV Essentials contract with Pivot, Participant Media’s new cable network targeting millennials (18-34 year-olds) launching Aug. 1.
Pivot will offer a mix of original series, acquired programming and TV premieres of films and documentaries. The network will use Rentrak’s TV measurement for audience and advertising research.
“The insight and intelligence that Rentrak provides will be an essential source of information and analysis as we work to create a unique TV experience tailored to Millennials,” said Karen Ramspacher, Pivot’s SVP of research and insights.
