Richland Towers Buys L.A. Tower Site From Emmis

Tampa, Fla.-based Richland Towers increased its tower market presence in the Los Angeles market by acquiring the Flint Peak site from Emmis Communications.

Richland Towers Chief Marketing Officer Dave Denton said: “Richland is excited about how the Flint Peak site complements our tower assets on Mount Wilson. It is by far the best off-Mount Wilson auxiliary facility in the Los Angeles market, which we will enhance with both UHF and FM community antenna systems.”

The towers are not geek eye candy, but a new building was recently constructed.

Glad to hear of improvements. In addition to the near-squalor in 1970s, low tower with two FM antennas assured that fluorescent lights inside the building could not be turned off. Except in the part that was screened.
