‘Ricki Lake’ Adds Lisa Kridos As EP

The former KTTV Los Angeles executive producer joins the new talk show from Twentieth Television that has been cleared in 93% of the U.S. for a fall launch.

Twentieth Television today announced that Lisa Kridos has been named executive producer of The Ricki Lake Show, the new syndicated talk show hosted and executive produced by Ricki Lake. Sold in 93% of the country, The Ricki Lake Show, premiering in September, is now cleared in each of the top 50 markets.

In regards to the announcement, Stephen Brown, SVP of programming and development, Twentieth Television, said: “Lisa has made a career of producing television that resonates with the modern day woman — emphasizing fresh perspectives and strong, unfiltered voices. The combination of Lisa and Ricki, one of the sharpest producers in morning television and a talented proven talk show host, will be a powerful and exciting force in daytime television.”

Kridos has been in daytime television as a creator, consultant, writer and executive producer for over 30 years.  For the past 15 years, she was the executive producer of KTTV Los Angeles’ Good Day LA. She is the recipient of eight Emmys and two Golden Mikes.

Kridos has a master’s in television and communications from Loyola Marymount University.
