Block Communications is moving the GM of its Boise Fox affiliate to lead its NBC affil in Illinois.

Ricky Joseph Named GM Of WAND Decatur
Block Communications Inc. today named Ricky J. Joseph, president-general manager of its NBC affiliate WAND Decatur, Ill. (DMA 82). Joseph is currently the president-GM of Block’s Fox affiliate KTRV Boise, Idaho, a post he’s held since 1998.
He will officially assume his new duties on Feb. 1, 2012.
Block said that current WAND General Manger Ron Pulera will remain at the station until March 2 “to ensure a smooth transition.”
Joseph has been in the broadcast TV industry since 1984. He has been with Block Communications since 1996. Joseph’s prior TV experience includes working in sales at KSTU Salt Lake City where he was an account executive from 1984-92 and the local sales manager from 1992-95; as general sales manager at WUPW Toledo from 1995-96; and as general sales manager at KTRV from 1996-97 prior to being named president-GM.
