‘Right This Minute’ Gets Fourth Season

Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution takes over distribution from MGM and clears the viral videos show on the ABC Owned Television Stations Group. The combination of ABC O&Os and Right This Minute partner stations creates a clearance footprint of 60% of the U.S. and Includes 18 of the top 20 markets for 2016-17.

Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution announced Tuesday that it will distribute the viral videos show Right This Minute for fall 2016 in national syndication and has cleared it on the ABC Owned Television Stations Group. The show has been distributed by MGM.

The show is produced by MagicDust Television in Phoenix. Cox Media Group, Raycom Media and the E.W. Scripps Co. are partnered with MagicDust in the creation and ownership of Right This Minute.

In addition to the ABC Owned Stations, the show will continue to air on the production partner stations, giving Right This Minute a combined clearance footprint of 60% of the U.S. and 18 of the top 20 markets, to date.

The eight ABC Owned Stations are WABC New York, KABC Los Angeles, WLS-TV Chicago, WPVI Philadelphia, KGO San Francisco, KTRK Houston, WTVD Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and KFSN Fresno, Calif.

Stations airing the show from Cox Media Group, Raycom Media and the E.W. Scripps Co. include WFXT Boston, WSB Atlanta, WXYZ Detroit, KIRO Seattle, WFTV Orlando, WSOC Charlotte, WCPO Cincinnati, WPTV West Palm Beach, WBRC Birmingham and WMC Memphis, among many others.

Right This Minute is the viral videos show that has the stories behind Web videos with interviews and information. The 2016-17 season will mark its sixth year on the air and fourth in national syndication. Right This Minute currently airs on 169 stations covering 87% of the country and is hosted by Gayle Bass, Charity Bailey, Christian Vera, Oli Pettigrew and Nick Calderone.
