Rita Marcocci Named GSM Of WFLD-WPWR
Fox Stations today named Rita Marcocci vice president and general sales manager of its Chicago duopoly of WFLD (Fox) and WPWR (MNT). The move is effective Feb. 22.
Most recently, Marcocci has been VP-general sales manager at Fox Stations Sales in New York, where she joined as an account executive in 2003.
Prior to that, Marcocci was national sales manager and then local sales manager at WNYW, the Fox O&O in New York. Earlier in her career, Marcocci was a local account executive for WPIX New York. She began her career as an account executive at Fox O&O WTVT Tampa, Fla.
Marcocci is a graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication/journalism.
