Romine To Lead Media General In Spartanburg
Media General today named Robert Romine president, general manager and group leader for WSPA (CBS) and WYCW (CW) in Spartanburg, S.C. (DMA 37),effective Sept. 19.
Since 2003, Romine has been VP-GM of WJTV, Media General’s CBS affiliate in Jackson, Miss., and WHLT, the company’s CBS affiliate in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Before joining Media General, he was VP-GM of WYTV Youngstown, Ohio. Prior to that, he was VP-GM of WHQA Quincy, Ill. Romine has also held sales management positions at stations in North Dakota. He is a graduate of Minot State University.
