RTDNA Partners With Reel Media Group

New professional members are offered free access to talent development agency’s online training and mentorship community.

The Radio Television Digital News Association today launched a new partnership with Reel Media Group, a talent development, training and mentorship agency for broadcasters.

RTDNA now offers new and renewing “New Professional” members four months of free all-access membership to Reel Media Group’s online training and mentorship community. New Professionals are designated as recent graduates up to two years after graduation.

All-access membership with Reel Media Group includes on-demand advice and coaching from professionals, discounts on all Reel Media Group programs, and access to networking opportunities and exclusive professional development workshops. Members are also eligible for Reel Media Group’s Job Catalyst Program — a job accelerator and mentorship program for reporters, producers and digital journalists. “Now more than ever, broadcasters need a safe place — where any question goes, where you can find answers to your questions and a community that fosters networking to find better jobs faster,” said Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel, founder of Reel Media Group. “Our goal is to give young professionals the tools for a long, fulfilling career in broadcasting.”

Reel Media Group is the official broadcast training partner for the Poynter Institute and the only agency certified to teach the Vocal Awareness Techniques as created by Arthur Samuel Joseph and used by the nation’s top broadcasters and networks.

“We see tremendous value in offering our young professional members the opportunity to join the Reel Media Group community,” said Mike Cavender, executive director of RTDNA. “This partnership will not only connect them to an expansive network of news professionals and mentors, but also help us continue to develop future leaders in journalism.”
RTDNA is the first national membership association to partner with Reel Media Group.
