That’s a pretty callous comment/question above but I will attempt to answer their question. The simple answer is someone who wants to take-on a leadership role that comprehends the complexities of the future of our business. Leadership is needed to change our sales model because the model is changing and we need proactive leaders who are change agents and disruptors. Without getting into too much detail, we need visionary sales leadership to guide our GM’s, content and program managers and local stations into developing hyper-local multi platform content that you build from the bottom up, with the client in mind. We need to develop an action plan for ATSC 3.0, which is a potential game changer. We need to develop a cultural and structural sales department for the future, and assuming your nickname reflects what you do, we need research departments to change their strategic focus.
The long answer is me; I want to be build the future sales and content structure for this business model and not sit on the sidelines like the former newspaper execs who were stubborn to change. This is still a great business and a viable business. We just need to evolve…

Media Mogul…You are delirious..The business is filled with yes men and women and head nodders..Corporate hacks who could not run a fruit stand are in denial and they all had no vision 15 years ago when digital was growing and they all said..”it’s a fad”” Local and broadcast TV will always be healthy. They all waited too long beacause thay are not smart people..Most of the so-called leaders are just trying to make it “a few more Years” before the bottom falls out
…they say all the right things but still think “time sales” is the key…How’s that working?? The smart people have left the business or have been driven out by hacks above them who were threatened…It’s a realistic statement..Not callous and get over it and get real!!
