Scott Heath Named VP-GM OF KSWB

Tribune Broadcasting-owned Fox affiliate KSWB San Diego (DMA 28) on Thursday promoted Scott Heath to VP-general manager, effective immediately.

Heath, who most recently was the station’s VP-station manager, will now be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the station and will report to Larry Wert, president, Tribune Broadcasting. He succeeds Don Corsini, who will continue his other duties as president-GM of Tribune’s KTLA Los Angeles, and will serve as consultant to KSWB.

Prior to his role as VP-station manager, Heath was the station’s general sales manager. He joined KSWB in 1986 as an account executive in the sales department, and over the last 29 years has held positions of increasing responsibility and scope including regional/local sales manager and national sales manager.

Prior to joining KSWB, Scott worked two years for XETRA-FM and XEWW-AM Tijuana, Mexico (San Diego) as a local account executive.

Heath holds a B.A. in journalism from San Diego State University.
