Sean Trigony Named GM of WO Central

WideOrbit Inc., a provider of advertising management software for media companies has named Sean Trigony as general manager of WO Central.

WO Central allows agencies and advertisers to buy advertising directly from participating WideOrbit stations and networks.

Trigony brings more than 16 years of traditional, emerging media and entertainment sales to WideOrbit, including local and national television, cable, digital, mobile and national syndication. Most recently, he was VP of sales at Myxer, a mobile technology company, where he was responsible for all revenue and advertising partnerships.

Trigony has held senior executive roles at Discovery Communications, Career Sports and Entertainment and HowStuffWorks, an edutainment website where he developed partnerships with more than 200 advertisers and helped grow the company towards a successful acquisition by Discovery Communications.

Earlier in his career, Trigony held key sales positions at TeleRep, a division of Cox Broadcasting in New York; WGNX Atlanta; and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
