Sen. Al Franken, the former "SNL" comedian, has found a funny way to raise campaign cash.

In a unique fundraising pitch, the Minnesota Democrat is raffling off an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles for brunch with the senator and Conan O'Brien at the late-night host's house in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 7.

"Imagine how much fun it would be to hang out at Conan’s house," Franken wrote in an e-mail to supporters. "Imagine how jealous your ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend/boss/parents/neighbors/cousins will be. Imagine how ridiculous your friends will look when they compete to be your plus-one."

"CONTRIBUTE TO AUTOMATICALLY BE ENTERED TO WIN THE BEST BRUNCH IN THE WORLD," reads a graphic on the entry form.

Franken and O'Brien are both Harvard alumni, and both were on the "Saturday Night Live" writing staff in the late 1980s and early 1990s. O'Brien, who now hosts a self-titled show on TBS, also hosted a fundraiser for Franken in 2010.

Franken is up for re-election in 2014.
