Shawn Wilcox Named Pres.-GM Of KTVQ

Cordillera Communications on Thursday appointed Shawn Wilcox president and general manager of CBS affiliate KTVQ Billings, Mont. (DMA 167). He succeeds John Hurley who retired at the end of 2015.

Wilcox joins the company from KPVI Idaho Falls-Pocatello, where he was VP-GM for the NBC affiliate.

In addition to his recent position at KPVI with Idaho Broadcast Partners, Wilcox has worked in management roles with Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Barrington Broadcasting and the Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Wilcox also has sales experience in radio, cable television, and was VP and director of sales for Weststar TV Ltd. and The Cayman International Television Network, overseeing all aspects of sales including broadcast, cable, internet, cinema, print and out-of-home digital media for its Caribbean operations.

He is a business graduate of SUNY-Fredonia.
