It will be the launch group for Bellum Entertainment’s new half-hour daytime syndicated investigative series set for this fall.

Bellum Entertainment announced a new half-hour daytime syndicated investigative series, Corrupt Crimes, with Sinclair Broadcast Group as the launch group. The show is scheduled to debut this fall.

The Monday-Friday strip investigates recent crime stories in complete detail, with expert analysis and dramatic storytelling. Cases include doping in sports, crimes of passion, wiretapping espionage, treason, insider trading, government corruption, the black market, piracy, murder, blackmail, conspiracies and more.

Sky Vision, the international distribution division of Europe’s leading entertainment company, Sky, will handle U.S. cable and worldwide distribution.

The show is all-barter with a 4/4 split.

“We are beyond thrilled to introduce Corrupt Crimes, which will be a riveting new series for daytime television,” said Boots Walker, VP of Bellum Entertainment.  “By launching with Sinclair, we have a great platform with our station partners which we find crucial to the success of daytime syndication.”

“We are excited to be partnering with Bellum Entertainment on this show,’ said David Amy, EVP-COO of Sinclair Broadcast Group. “Their entrepreneurial approach is an example of the type of production companies we have traditionally supported. As the largest television broadcaster, this is another example of our scale benefiting our viewers by bringing new and interesting content, such as Corrupt Crimes.”
