Sinclair Ups Jennifer Rieffer To WDKY GM
Sinclair Broadcast Group today named Jennifer Rieffer general manager of its Fox affiliate WDKY Lexington, Ky. (DMA 63).
Rieffer has been the station’s local sales manager since 2013. Prior to that, she had been an account executive there since 1998.
Steve Marks, EVP-COO of Sinclair’s television group, said: “We are pleased to promote Jennifer to General Manager of WDKY. She has been part of the Sinclair team for over 20 years and started her television broadcast career at this very station. We believe that her long history at the station and deep connection with the community, advertisers and viewers make her a natural fit to head WDKY.”
“I am very honored to be leading WDKY-TV here in the Lexington community,” Rieffer said. “I started with this station in 1995; it’s my family and my home. It’s a very exciting time not only to be with WDKY, but with Sinclair.”
Rieffer holds a Bachelor of Science from Morehead State University.
