Sinclair Ups Justin Bray To VP, Treasurer

He will be responsible for treasury and cash management operations, and shared services operations for accounts payable, payroll and credit and collections.

Sinclair Broadcast Group has promoted Justin Bray to vice president and treasurer from vice president and corporate controller. At the same time, David Bochenek has been named senior vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller from senior vice president, chief accounting officer.

Both positions will report into Lucy Rutishauser, SVP and chief financial officer.

In his new capacity, Bray will be responsible for treasury and cash management operations, and shared services operations for accounts payable, payroll and credit and collections.

In making the announcement, Rutishauser said: “We are pleased to announce the naming of Justin to the Treasurer’s role. Since joining Sinclair in 2011, Justin has been involved in all aspects of the accounting functions, including most recently overseeing the implementation of the company’s ERP systems in the cloud. He has worked alongside me over the years on debt financings and more recently taken a more active role in our treasury and working capital management functions. Combined with his strong accounting and SEC reporting background, we believe he will make an excellent treasurer.”

Bray has been VP-Corporate Controller since 2014 and has performed the corporate controller role since joining Sinclair in September 2011. Prior to joining the dompany, he held various positions, most recently as senior manager from 2008 to 2011 within the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Bray received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
